Day 1: Informix Foundation

Objectives and what the attendees will walk away from the session with:
Introduces attendees to IBM’s high-performance Informix database engine.  In this class, the attendees learn about what makes Informix so fast and easy to manage on a day-to-day basis. The attendees get hands-on experience installing Informix and creating a database environment. Finally they experience recovering from a major system failure.

Day 2: TimeSeries Analytics

Objectives and what the attendees will walk away from the session with:
Participants will get hands-on experience with Informix TimeSeries technology. Regular and irregular TimeSeries will created and loaded with data, including NoSQL data. Participants will use SQL and Informix TimeSeries functions to query data as well as hide and reveal it. Complex functions like aggregation and range calculations will be performed and more. Finally, a brief overview of combining TimeSeries with Informix Spatial technology will be given.
